National Young Women Leaders Conference

In 2021, we hosted a National Young Women Leaders Conference at the University of Nairobi, reaching over 300 leaders for an inter generational dialogue on women leadership. The event served as a platform to learn from women leaders in diverse spheres while also offering an opportunity for young women leaders to contribute to the agenda.

Young Women Leaders Conference seeks to enhance economic empowerment of the youth through digital skills training. Digital skills training program seeks  to enhance Digital literacy and resilience for economic empowerment and to cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. Barriers to quality employment are particularly large for youth, who often lack the skills and information to access good jobs. Providing young people with employable skills, and helping them connect to employment opportunities, may help address these barriers.

Increased unemployment in the country has necessitated the young people to learn and embrace the  Digital era  for opportunities for  growth and for income generation.
