Maureen is a seasoned economist and governance enthusiast with more than ten years of experience across trade, public policy advocacy, private sector development, and stakeholder engagement, including interactions with government officials at both county and national levels.

Currently, Maureen works as a Trade expert and supports programme management at the Trademark Africa (TMA), a regional aide for trade organisation. Maureen was a consultant supporting the implementation of TMA’s USAID ERRA-funded Trade Policy and Corridor Development programme. She previously served as the Devolution and Regional Affairs Executive at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers, where she also worked as a researcher in the policy research and advocacy unit. In these roles, she led programme delivery and research initiatives focused on trade, investment, and market opportunities across different levels of government.
She brings a wealth of experience in project design and delivery, data analysis, knowledge management, monitoring, and evaluation.

Maureen holds an MA in Economics and Policy Development and a bachelor’s degree in economics and Statistics, both from the University of Nairobi.
Outside of work, she’s a passionate traveller, always ready to explore a new destination when not engaged in programme management or research
